Quantum-Inspired Constrained Matching for Large-Scale Banking Reconciliation Under Tolerance and Many-to-Many Breaks
This paper focuses on improving how banks reconcile large volumes of transactions that often contain small value differences and complex matching relationships. Instead of relying on traditional rule-based systems, the framework uses a quantum-inspired optimization approach to improve matching accuracy, reduce unmatched transactions, and significantly decrease manual review effort. The results show that this approach can provide a more scalable and efficient solution for real-world banking reconciliation operations.
